An EastEnders legend has denied using artificial intelligence in his paintings as he opened his first solo exhibition. Jake Wood, who plays Max Branning, launched his “Icons” series of portraits at Brighton’s Indelible Fine Art Gallery on 7 May. After posting images and videos of his paintings online, including a portrait of Sir David Attenborough, Wood’s followers accused him of using AI in his pieces.
