ITV’s ‘The Heat’ drops young chefs into a sun-soaked reality show that looks suspiciously like Love Island with knives. Entertaining, certainly – but its glossy flirtation with kitchen life sits awkwardly alongside the industry’s far messier realities, writes Hannah Twiggs
