The 2026 Winter Olympics are kicking off!
The big games officially open on Friday, February 6 with a celebration held primarily at the San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy. As always, the event will feature the Parade of Nations as well as the lighting of the Olympic Cauldron.
The 2026 Winter Olympics opening ceremony begins at 8 p.m. local time in Milan.
Headlined by Mariah Carey, there are also several international artists that will be performing during the opening ceremony.

NBC and Peacock be airing live coverage starting at 2 p.m. ET. Primetime coverage of the event will air 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and Peacock.
