Olivia Dean is the winner of the Best New Artist award at the 2026 Grammy Awards!
The 26-year-old “Man I Need” singer accepted the award on stage during music’s biggest night on Sunday (February 1) at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
During her acceptance speech, she shouted out her family as the granddaughter of an immigrant.
“I want to say I’m up here as a granddaughter of an immigrant. I’m a product of bravery, and I think those people deserve to be celebrated. So. Yeah, we’re nothing without each other,” she said.

This came just after she performed the song as part of the Best New Artist compilation.
Her second album, The Art of Loving, was released in September 2025, and included hits like “Nice to Each Other,” “Lady Lady” and, of course “Man I Need.”
