Katharine McPhee has just one complaint about frequently touring with her husband, David Foster.
The 41-year-old singer often joins the prolific composer, 76, on stage around the world. Next year, the couple will take that partnership on the road with a special tour titled An Intimate Evening with David Foster & Katharine McPhee.

“The hard part of the tour is actually just like not sleeping very well,” she tells Page Six.
According to the American Idol alum, their deep bond comes from the “unconventional” way they met—when David mentored her on the reality singing competition show—and from becoming friends long before romance entered the picture.
“That’s where the bond comes from, I think, more than anything,” Katharine says. “It just makes it convenient that I can sing for him when he needs a demo done or something like that.”
Apart from touring with David, Katharine is currently starring in The Network series The Artist, a murder mystery set during the Gilded Age.
