TMZ is making a big claim about a Nick Reiner diagnosis.
The site is alleging that the 32-year-old son of beloved couple Rob and Michele Reiner was diagnosed with schizophrenia. Leading up to the deaths of his parents, the site is claiming that medications were making him “erratic and dangerous.” At the time of this posting, his diagnosis has not been confirmed by him.
The site reports he was “under the care of a psychiatrist for mental illness.” Apparently, last month, his “behavior” had become “alarming.”

The source tells them that about 3-4 weeks ahead of their deaths, “doctors changed his meds and he became even more erratic….doctors were trying to adjust the medications so Nick stabilized, but it wasn’t working.” He apparently had recently spent time at a rehab facility.
“Nick was out of his head,” they added.
Nick was charged with their murders, and has not entered a plea yet. However, they are apparently hearing that “this is going to be a case where Nick will plead not guilty by reason of insanity.”
