Man vs. Baby currently has a 71% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and a 57% audience score.

The UK Times gave it a 4 out of 5, writing: “It could have been overly sentimental, but happily avoids this with a powerhouse performance from Atkinson’s rubbery facial expressions and extraordinary physicality.”

Guardian gave it a 2 out of 5, and writes: “[The action] never escalates into the grand, high-wire, socially subversive physical comedy we expect from Atkinson. Instead, we just get a nauseatingly schmaltzy and nonsensical dose of Christmas cheer helmed by a kind-hearted, capable man.”

Decider says to stream it, writing: “Man Vs. Baby is the kind of show that you can put on and just laugh without thinking too hard, which is likely the exact reaction Atkinson and Davies wanted the audience to have.”

Financial Times gave it a 2 out of 5, writing: “With a small child involved, there is no room for the gleeful destruction of Man Vs Bee, only for a few weak gags about nappies and serious amounts of product placement.”

Daily Telegraph gave it 4 out of 5, writing: “It may lack a few belly laughs, but it is thoroughly entertaining…”
