Aidy Bryant returned to Saturday Night Live for the first time since she left the show!
The 38-year-old actress and comedian made a surprise appearance during Saturday’s (December 20) show in the “Weekend Update” segment.
Aidy joined Bowen Yang as they reprised their Trend Forecasters characters.

In the segment, Aidy and Bowen brought the latest trends that are in or out, including fighting with your family for the holidays, getting socks as presents, singing trends and Chinese trends.
Coincidentally, the Trend Forecasters was Aidy‘s final sketch in 2022 before she left the show, and she returned to help bid farewell during Bowen‘s final episode that night.
This was Bowen‘s second to last sketch, as his final one was the last of the night and he used it as his goodbye. Like many other former cast members, he could return as a special guest or as host in the future.
