What Time Are Epstein Files Being Released? What We Know About Today’s Deadline

On November 19, 2025, Donald Trump signed the Epstein Files Transparency Act, requiring the release of the infamous files related to dead disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein‘s case.

As part of the Transparency Act, Congress gave the Department of Justice a 30 day deadline to release the files.

Well that deadline has come – the DOJ and Attorney General Pam Bondi must release the files today (December 19) to comply with the Act.

So, what time will the files be released?

It’s unclear the exact time, but what we know is that they should be released by 11:59 pm ET in order to satisfy the deadline, USA Today reports.

The law actually says the files need to be released in a “searchable and downloadable format,” but it’s also unclear how they will do this.
