Selena Gomez is addressing the noticeable difference in her speaking voice over the years.
The 33-year-old “Rare” singer opened up during an Instagram Live session on Tuesday (December 16), where she took questions from fans.

“Yeah, I’ve gotten this question a few times, the voice thing,” she noted, reading one question, per Page Six.
“So sometimes when I’m on… never mind,” she said before briefly stopping herself.
“There’s no excuse, I don’t really care.”
“I think my point is, is that sometimes things happen,” she said.
“I get weird. My throat kind of swells inside sometimes. That’s all. That’s good.”
“I’m glad y’all are being real with me on the Live. I appreciate it though, for real,” she said.
