Judi Dench is addressing scandal and convictions regarding Kevin Spacey and Harvey Weinstein.
If you didn’t know, Kevin worked with her in 2001′s The Shipping News, and Harvey‘s Miramax acquired her first leading role, Mrs. Brown, in 1997.
In a new interview, the 90-year-old actress spoke about their respective allegations.

Regarding Kevin, Judi said the 66-year-old actor, acquitted of sexual assault charges two years ago, “has been exonerated” and that the two currently communicate, via Radio Times.
“We text,” she said.
Kevin still faces three more claims of sexual assault in London in 2026.
As far as Harvey, she noted: “I saw a bit of film of Harvey walking with two sticks and you think, ‘Well…’ ‘I knew Harvey and I knew him well and worked with him, and I had none of that experience — very fortunately for me.”
“I imagine he’s done his time… I don’t know, to me it’s personal — forgiveness,” she added.
Judi also gave an update about her vision loss, saying she can’t recognize people.
